Art Spectrum Paraffin is a colourless or white flammable wax obtained in the distilling of petroleum. It can be added to oil paints for greater plasticity. It is used as a modelling material & in wax resist techniques such as Batik, either as a substitute for beeswax or as a supplement to it. It is also used in encaustic painting & candle making.
